We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use trusted third-party services including Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting).

5. Google Sign-In

We offer sign-in via Google OAuth 2.0. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We use this information only to create and manage your Lifeline account. We do not access your Google contacts, Gmail, or any other Google services beyond basic profile information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone, which permanently removes your profile and associated data. Some information may be retained for legal compliance purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

Lifeline is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Lifeline after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
